Weddings
This wedding... This wedding is special to me in many ways. I couldn't recall every single detail but I still remember, after the first conversation I had with Hannah and Jake via phone some time last year, I later told my husband that I wasn't entirely sure if it went well. I felt as if I talked too much, feeling nervous about having awkward silence (when silence could actually be good). "It's okay if they don't pick me, I get it" - I remember thinking to myself... But Hannah and Jake decided to give this a try, and until today, I'm grateful that they did.
On a beautiful Saturday, I met Hannah at her parents' house in Newburyport. As soon as I walked into the house, I could feel a breeze of warmth and happiness in the air. Hannah was surrounded by her family and beloved friends, sharing laughters. Hannah's parents even prepared handkerchiefs for her bridesmaids (don't we all need one of those?). Later as we followed her steps to Spencer Peirce Little Farm, I witnessed Jake's first time seeing the love of his life in a beautiful wedding dress. Such a beautiful moment...

Weddings
Lyman Estate had been a place on our check list for a while, and last month we finally got to photograph Cassandra and Anthony's wedding here. The eighteenth-century English interior design of this place is just so beautiful, full of elegant details and interesting patterns. The rolling lawn and greenhouse offer plenty options for lovely photos, though we sadly couldn't use the greenhouse as it was closed.. The day was filled with endless happiness and laughters. My favorite part of the reception was Maid of Honor Natasha's awesome rap performance (making it a lot tougher for the Best Men). And Darvin as the bridesman rocks! Thank you to Cassandra and Anthony for having me!

Engagement
A few weeks ago, I got to spend some amazing time with Julie and Chris at Appleton Farms for their engagement session. I've traveled to many places throughout New England but for some reasons, I've never really stumbled upon many farms in Massachusetts. There's something magical about the sunset and late afternoons in these places. It's not so hard to fall in love with such beautiful views once you've seen them..

Getting ready is one of my favorite moments to capture. Months of planning has finally come down to hours and there’re always lots of emotions in the room. Weddings
Tina and Tony must be one of my favorite couples ever. From the very first email that Tina sent me, I could already felt the connection. When she greeted me at her wedding ceremony rehearsal with a big smile and opened arms, I couldn't help but feel like I was about to document wedding of an old friend. It was wonderful.

Tina and Tony got married at the St. Rose of Lima church in Northborough, MA and their reception was at Concord Scout House in Concord, MA.
