Weddings
I had always dreamt of photographing back yard weddings so when Eric reached out to me via email, I couldn't be more thrilled. At the first house they bought together, Eric and Ted tied the knot in the presence of their close friends and family members. Their best friend was the officiant. The wedding was one of their first few memories together at this house — a new chapter began, ready to fill with many special moments. Countless hugs and kisses, happy tears and endless laughters. Engagement
I met Cara and Chris at Arnold Arboretum, where the two usually takes their greyhound Jorge for a walk up the hill. I have never been to this side of the arboretum so it was fun to explore around. These guys are the kind of sweet and down-to-earth humans that make you feel instantly comfortable around. And in case you wonder if Cara forgot her shoes as you scroll down the post – not really, she just loves being barefoot. (more…)

Weddings
We wrapped up our 2016 season with the best wedding we could ask for. Jeremy and Elizabeth invited us to photograph their beautiful seaside wedding in Cape Porpoise of Maine. The ceremony was held at Wildwood Chapel in Kennebunkport - a small and cozy space that was perfect for intimate moments. Jer and Liz then chose Atlantic Hall for their reception and decorated everything with crafted pieces. "A creative duo through and through, the couple turned to their shared creative skills to craft various DIY design elements like hand drawn calligraphy, collected beach stone place cards, painted signs and boutonnieres featuring curls of maple from the groom’s wood shop." - Love and Lobster. Love
We recently met up with Michelle (our Fall Giveaway winner!) and her husband Dan for a quick session at Blue Hills Reservation in Milton, MA. Michelle and I actually met before at Tina and Tony's wedding where she was part of the wedding party, so it was fun to meet with her again. Though they live in Mansfield, Dan usually comes to Blue Hills after work for a hike so he was our guide for the afternoon. This place is so beautiful! With many hiking trails and lakes, it gives a feeling of being in the forest and away from the city, just minus the long drive (though I really can't wait to photograph a mountain engagement session/ wedding soon!)
